The dəxʷx̌ayəbus Dental Therapy program offers dental services provided by students under the direct supervision of licensed dental therapists, dental hygienists, and dentists. Patients receive high-quality care while supporting the education of future dental professionals.
Services Provided by Dental Therapy Students
Our students deliver a wide range of preventive and restorative dental services, including:
- Exams and X-rays
- Cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Fillings
- Simple extractions
- Sealants
- Oral health education and home care instruction
If a patient requires more advanced treatment such as root canal therapy, they will be referred to a specialist.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Because all care is closely supervised by licensed dental professionals, appointments are longer than standard dental visits. Students take extra time to perform each step carefully and review their work with instructors. Please plan for an extended visit and multiple appointments if your treatment requires it.

- A driver’s license or photo ID
- Your dental insurance card
Patients must have active dental insurance to receive care at the student clinic.
