Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides free healthy foods, breastfeeding and pumping support, nutrition education, and referrals to other services.

WIC is available for income-eligible pregnant and postpartum women, breastfeeding moms, and children under five. Dads, grandparents, foster parents, and anyone raising kids under five can receive apply for support for the children in their care.

You’re already income-eligible for WIC if you or your children receive Medicaid (Apple Health), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP EBT), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or receive commodities through STOWW. You can be income eligible without these services - call for an income screening.

Foods offered to WIC clients:

  • Fresh, frozen, and canned fruit and vegetables
  • 100% fruit or vegetable juice
  • Eggs, canned fish, beans, peanut butter
  • Breakfast cereals and whole grains
  • Milk, yogurt, cheese
  • Infant and baby foods
