Domestic Violence

The strength of the Swinomish Tribe is founded on healthy families. The Tribe provides the following services to victims, perpetrators, and families experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault.

Swinomish Domestic Violence Shelter

The Swinomish Domestic Violence Shelter - House of Healing - is available for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual assault who need shelter care assistance. For assistance, call the program manager at (360) 542-7626 or (360) 391-0773, or the shelter advocate at (360) 708-4432.

Victim Counseling Services

For Native adult victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who would like to receive licensed mental health counseling, contact Swinomish Behavioral Health at (360) 466-7375 to leave a private and confidential message - a counselor will contact you as soon as possible during business hours, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Counselors are also available for drop-in appointments at the Swinomish Medical Clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For an appointment, call (360) 466-3167 or just come in! 

Emergency Financial Assistance

For Native adult victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who need emergency financial assistance (housing, hotel, food, or bills) to escape abuse, call Swinomish Family Services at (360) 466.7222.
