Job Title: Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Worker HUD

Position Summary: The Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Worker ensures our outdoor environments remain clean, safe, and beautifully maintained throughout the season. Responsible for performing routine lawn care, mowing, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of all landscaped areas.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of hands-on experience operating landscaping equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers)
- One (1) year of experience performing hedge and shrub trimming
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a commercial or municipal grounds maintenance role
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, sprinklers, and seasonal watering schedules

Ability to identify common trees, shrubs, and flowers

Experience with soil preparation, spreading mulch, and general garden bed maintenance

Skill in creating clean, sharply defined edges along walkways and landscaping beds

Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to follow directions and work well with a crew

Excellent time management skills to complete daily outdoor tasks efficiently

A keen eye for detail to ensure all grounds meet high aesthetic and cleanliness standards
