JOB TITLE: HUD Housing Manager
DEPARTMENT: Housing
Position Summary:
The HUD Housing Manager is responsible for the administration, compliance, and daily operations of all housing programs funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as all additional federal, state, local, and private housing grants. This position ensures full regulatory compliance, oversees program staff, manages grant‑related reporting, and maintains accurate documentation for all housing activities. The HUD Housing Manager provides leadership, training, and oversight to ensure effective, compliant, and high‑quality delivery of housing services across all funding sources.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Services, Public Administration, or a related field
- Equivalent professional experience may be substituted for formal education
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of paid experience working directly with HUD housing and/or Tax Credit programs, or other housing grants
- Minimum 3 years of paid supervisory experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience preparing or assisting with grants, grant reports, and annual HUD reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (minimum 5 years)
