The Swinomish Tribe’s community impact funds provide an opportunity for the Tribe to give back to the local community and build a healthier neighborhood for all. The Tribe is committed to helping grow and improve our local community in the areas of arts and culture, education and youth services, the environment, health care, public safety, and social services.
The Tribe donates these funds to the local community as approved by the Swinomish Senate. The Tribe will not fund political candidates or organizations, memorials or endowments, travel expenses, or legal fees. Qualifying organizations will only be funded once per year.
If your organization is interested in applying for a community impact contribution, please download and fill out the application and return it along with the required documentation as directed in the instructions. Community impact funds are limited to organizations operating within the state of Washington only. Applications and supplemental attachments are due every April 14th by 6 p.m.
